A seller sold me a used and damaged $1250 Marine seat which he listed on eBay as “Newâ€
Seller listed a used damaged marine seat as new. My purchase price was $1250. The seller wants me to pay for a new undamaged portion of the seat. That portion is called a bolster. I find it offensive that he sells me a used damage seat as New, and still wants me to pay an additional $175. He did state in the ad as is a no returns, but there’s no way I would’ve paid $1250 for a used seat, and then buy a sliding mount for an additional $375. If I spent $500 more, I would’ve gotten a new undamaged seat. I think it would be fair to get a partial refund, I am not looking for a full refund. But also, they should be admonished that they better check their ad when a used product is sold as new. What would the community do in my shoes,
