A seller is accusing me of lying about a cat that nearly died because of their order mixup
About a month ago, I bought flea treatment for my 2 cats. I got dog flea treatment in the mail and i did not realize it till I had put one of the vials on my biggest cat. It turned out to be vectra 3d, for dogs only, and it was extremely toxic to cats. He ended up in the ER, even after I wiped it off. To be clear, he didn't even get enough of this thing meant for 90+ pound dogs to take care of his fleas for a month, and yet it gave him seizures, and importantly non-stop muscle tremors that got close to killing him. It was truly awful.
I put this in a review of the product. The seller, just yesterday, accused me of lying, trying to get the review changed. I am concerned that they are going around my back to get me labeled as a liar and somehow wipe away evidence this ever occurred.
I provided them with photographic evidence of the orders and receipt from the vet hospital today. And I am infuriated. I do not see any way of asking ebay to arbitrate this.
The seller gave me my money back after reading that this had happened, but never apologized after I told them what happened. Before I told them about the ER, before the poison kicked in, they apologized and said they would send 2 more replacements, both of which turned out to literally be more vectra 3d when the package arrived a week later. Again, I took photos of all of this today. The seller never accused me of lying in our correspondence prior to today. They didn't ask me for proof. I just got f'ing silence for a month till they accused me of lying today.
They need to f'ing fix the problem on their end. If their claim is true that they are not personally shipping items, then whomever they are paying to do this f'd u twice in a row, just trying to fulfill my order. It feels like a ticking time bomb re: other cat owners, especially if they either think I'm lying or are literally trying to lie about it just to get one bad review cleared. That to me is really offensive if true.
FWIW, the seller's name is healthypets4less. Thank you.
