a seller has complained that because I gave a bad review, his money is being held by eBay
I just recently was contacted the seller of the item below complaining that because I gave a bad review, eBay is withholding his money.
Cross Black Onyx Gemstone 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry Pendant 3.03" O210 silverrocksjaipur (1037)
I have been trying to find that review to correct it, if possible, but cannot find it and cannot find anywhere on eBay to see what my reviews have been.
I know that I have a basic distrust of eBay because they "hide behind a ton of software" to try to force you to kowtow to there procedures.
But right now, the email from the seller is that I gave a bad review and eBay won't release the money to him unless the review is corrected.
To be very blunt, WHERE THE HELL IS THE REVIEW THAT SEEMS TO BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM?

Mentor2 years ago@paul-bo_37 The neutral feedback most likely has nothing to do with the sellers fund holds. I see you left 2 neutrals, although the comments are a bit confusing on both.
The sellers have to send a feedback revision request and you then you have 10 days to revise the feedback to a positive IF you wish to do so.
Sellers can send 5 revisions per year OR 5 revisions per 1 thousand feedbacks received a year.

OP2 years agoThe original requests was posed to that I was trying to tell eBay I do not like receiving "used car salesmen" tactics on me. The letter that I sent told eBay to keep their **** noses out of my business.
The following furor is caused, partly, I believe, because the seller does not understand English.
Or it could be that I misread who sent me the request for a review.
Anything directly from eBay that questions something is going to receive an instant response.
The seller's review was supposed to say that "The [item] is beautiful".
As to why he says you are holding his money because of the review, that's between you and him.
Capisce?

Mentor2 years ago@paul-bo_37 Nothing is between me and the seller. We are all volunteers on this board. You are correct that the hold is between the seller and eBay.
We can only offer advice on how to handle things with eBay's policies. Any feedback you leave on the sellers page is TO the seller AND not eBay.
If you meant the stay out of my business message for eBay then you can see if they will remove the feedback or not. TOTALLY up to you if you want to contact CS.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
