A return that wasn't refunded but promised by EBAY
I have been a member for many many years. EBAY is getting unsafe to use. I have been robbed by the seller twice in the past year. Once the shoes arrived with a defected sole. It was like pulling teeth to try to get the money back. I finally got the ok to return the item and never got the full amount back. The seller kept 50% of the money. (Probably recovering the shipping cost which wasn't suppose to be the case) and now, I bought an item from 4STORES, a graded card storage box for $79.46. It arrived damaged. Broken lock and broken side of the plastic. I sent pictures and a return postage was sent to me. The case was closed right away. Well we are now in February and I am still waiting for the refund. EBAY is saying that the case is closed. NO IT'S NOT, I still don't have my money back and worst, I can not give a bad review to 4STORES it will not allow me to. So EBAY makes promises that it is safe but it use to be. But not anymore. Shop AMAZON Not EBAY. I try to reach out to someone with no success. You can't get any help when needed. I use to love EBAY but I am getting to many issues lately. I don't think you check your seller very well and seem to protect them more then the customers that are buying.

Mentor2 years agoThis is how a returns request works. Note the time line.
The easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. You have 30 days from date of receipt. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
