A recent purchase on a guest account

Question

How do i go about returning an item bought on a guest account? Everytime I go to find it it redirects me to my account which I didnt purchase it on. It has the same email address yet it wont let me return the item.

Guest purchases are not connected to your eBay account. For help with a guest purchase, first sign out of your eBay account, then use the "order details" link in the email you received from eBay, or else right click on the link and choose to open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
