A QR code from ebay says I'll get $5 if I use their app, but the QR code goes to Starller.com !
Is this some kind of scam? Maybe my PC is infected. I've seen and ignored this QR code before that comes up when I go to eBay.com, but I thought I'd check it out, and the website it went to was Starller.com. Hmm.

Mentor2 years ago@trinitarianism I wouldn't try using that. I recommend that you add a pop up blocker to your browser.

OP2 years agoThanks for the response. I do have MalwareBytes Browser Guard installed (without any exceptions for eBay.com). I also have Kaspersky Protection browser extension installed and running. Maybe this one redirect pop-up is able to get by them. Otherwise, I don't get any pop-ups.
