A Printed Label is a Scanned and Purchased Label on eBay.ca with no ability to cancel or refund!
Check your accounts if you have ever made an error on a UPS label initiated through eBay.ca
eBay states that you will not be charged for a UPS Label until it is scanned. I printed a label, saw the error and shredded the Label within a minute of being printed. After 15 hours on the phone with eBay, over a month period, with 5 different customer service representatives and 3 dropped calls (on their end), eBay says the label that went from the printer to the shredder was scanned, and I am at fault.
Attempting to cancel the label on eBay.ca, it says "Don't worry, you will not be charged for labels that aren't scanned." But, I was charged, and told by eBay that I should not have scanned the label.
eBay has taken my $50 x 2 for 1 item shipment and insists that both withdrawals from my savings account are theirs to keep. I am reporting one of the two transactions to my bank as fraud.

Mentor6 months agoHi @egjcard
I wish you had looked up how to void or cancel a label in the Help files (link at top of every page) or come here to ask. Here's how to cancel a label...

OP6 months agoHi, Inceptions,
I had attempted to follow all of those directions daily for the last 40 days unsuccessfully.
It continuously denied concellatiion or the ability to input reason for cancellation, simply stating the "Don't worry! You will not be charged." Still says it to this day!
Nonetheless, I was charged. I've been at this for nearly 2 decades.

I see that you are registered in Canada. I apologize for not noticing you mentioned that in the title. This is the US site. I would suggest posting on the Canadian site for help as the processes may be different.

OP6 months agoThank you.
I must state that I had no choice but to attempt to resolve the issue through eBay central Customer Service out of Utah.
In providing them the situation, they called me a liar and claimed I had scanned the unused label at a UPS Drop Off Point.
Nothing like being called a liar after 18 years of devotion to the site.
Do you see anything above that says Item Scanned? If so, where is it?
Completely illogical and disrespectful.

OP6 months agoHere is what eBay and UPS state that the label went through from my printer to my shredder, hence eBay says it was scanned. I purchased the label at 1:45 pm.

OP6 months agoEvery day for the last 40 days, while I made the 6 calls to customer service and spent over 12 hours on the phone, this is all it says when I follow the guidance you provided above.
Again, I am sick to my stomach that eBay is not doing anything about this, and I simply cannot be the only one affected.
I have trusted eBay for the last 18 years, now I want to look closer at my transaction histories.
