A possible scam is about to occur from a buyer and how to avoid this
Good day everyone
I have an issue that I'm aware and now I able to be one of the statistic on a scam. I just sold my iPhone to a buyer and it's fairly new without any issues at all. Now the buyer claimed that the Bluetooth doesn't work on any of his "other" devices. Now I suspect it's false because I had three Bluetooth devices(Apple Watch, AirPods Pro, and Beats) working all the time without fail. I stated to the buyer that I'm I.T. Technician(which is true) and willing to further assist. I had suspicions about this buyer because I always updated my shipping tracking status with buyer and never got any response until a return plus his account has only (1) feedback score. I'm trying to contact eBay but this automated chat is no help at all to have a scam that most seller encountered on fraudulent shipping returns
What can I do about this to prevent a scam. Any suggestions can help
Thank you

Mentor1 year agoThe easiest way is to have the buyer go to his/her Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. S/he will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. The buyer prints out the label, affixes it to the box, and has the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund the buyer within 2 days. If no refund, the buyer goes back to the case and clicks on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
ebay's Money Back Guarantee expires 30 days after receipt of the item.
Examine the item and if okay, relist the item. You can also report the buyer for misusing the Money Back Guarantee.
