A no return, return that is not defective
I sold a product that the buyer after 30 days has asked for a return. The original post states no return. It involved a sealed brand new product, The buyer claims it defective. It is not defective according to the manufacturer that he reach out- I commend him for doing so. He still insist to me that the product is defective and wishes to return the product that is now open and unsealed, for a full refund and me paying for shipping on top of it. The product is a blink doorbell, the back cover admittely from Blink themselves says it fits tight. All the reviews I have read says it fits tight to be weather proof. I sent the gentleman a Youtube videoof how to attach that back cover. He now claims if he gets the cover on he might not get it off. I have spoken to friends with the same doorbell and each has claimed "yeah its little tough, but duable and you only have to remove it once a year to change the batteries. The buyer writes in very broken english , but he still insist after 30 days and half the price of retail its defective and he wants his money back. WORSE is if he returns it still linked to his blink account it becomes inoperable to anyone- except him. As a seller what options do I have? also clear as day I said no returns in my listing. I'm looking forward to advice, thanks
