A malicious buyer
An item that i had packed to the best of my ability had been broken in transit. I accepted the return as soon as i found out. The buyer hastily left negative feedback saying that i did not respond to her questions about returns as she claimed it was her first. I did reply wheni got back to the house which was three hours later. She was malicious sending the package back missing the smaller pieces of the figurines head. The box contained a loose sheet of bubble wrap not taped around the figurine. I told her i would give her full refund even though i could have asked for a partial refund yet this angered her somehow. She had lied to me three instances. I had spent a good amount of time with ebay agents who told me to inform her about how to revise feedback. She did not do so. I filed for feedback removal which to my amazement was not accepted. She had admitted to being impatient in message to me. It is no fault of mine that the item arrived broken. It is no fault of mine that she was ignorant of ebay procedures with returns. Yet i know have a negative review and my satisfaction rating is now 99.2 rather than a 100. Ive reported the buyer. I dont think this is fair at all. I feel ebay has failed to protect me from a malicious buyer who seemed more about giving me negative feedback and may have broken the item in order to do so. @lau_6213 i would block this buyer. I am guessing there is nothing i can do. Chalk it up to business?

OP10 months agoI really tried to do my best and keep a calm demeanor but to no avail. If she truly valued Hedi Schoop she would not have sent it back in such manner and missing pieces. I suspect that this has been an attack on my store. Ive experienced this before through @thogibbs_1828 where he purchased a perfectly fine ink jar properly shipped in a timely manner just in order to give negative feedback and lower my rating. His feedback was an attack on many of my tintype and photobooth photo discoveries of significant historical presence and value. Why? Out of Jealousy or inability to agree about unverified claims. Many people in this day and age are straight up haters trolls naysayers shills determined to be righteous in throwing shade and darkness. Best not to dwell there. My intent is to illuminate. I may be wrong but i stand 100% behind my claims. I abide by the ebay 100% guarantee. If a buyer decided my claim to be incorrect they would get there money back and return shipping. The specialists they hired to come to their conclusion is on them.

Mentor10 months agoSometimes you just have to move on, so glad you at least got your item back. Besides reporting them the only thing you can do is block them and make a follow up reply to clarify what happen, which other buyers will take note of.

OP10 months agoThanks rfmtm! I am finally returning to peace. Holding on to anger is pointless. Other peoples bad behaviors have little to do with me and reflects the kind of person they have become. I went ahead blocked and reported. I wont be utilizing the advice of ebay agents in the future. Its not their fault. ebay is set up askew. They wish they had a more robust seller rating system. Watching conflicts is probably entertainment for corporate ebay. I had just finished an entire year of being at 99.2% due to malicious buyer. Now here i am again at 99.2%. Why not 99.6%. The 0.08% percentage seems like some cooked up number. Smh vs. free shrugs.
i appreciate your advice rfmtm. It helps. âï¸ðŸŒŸâï¸ðŸŒŸâï¸

< Why not 99.6%. >
They calculate the positive feedback percentage using the numbers of positive and negative ratings for orders made in the most recent twelve months. It's calculated as positive divided by the total of positive plus negative. 123 / (123 + 1) = 0.9919 Feedbacks left by the same member in the same week are counted as only one, no matter how many there are.

Mentor10 months agoAlways be patient and try to resolve the problem before asking if a buyer would consider changing feedback.
Do not send a Feedback Revision Request until the buyer agrees to use it.
If nothing else add a calm factual reply to the feedback received (from your feedback page).
When shipping small fragile figurines do not wrap them tightly with bubble wrap as heat will cause the bubbles to expand and often crush/crack necks and arms.
