A lot of Scammers on EBAY - What to do?
I bought a router from what turned out to be an eBay scammer. It was covered by the eBay guarantee (Thank Goodness) but the scam signature is now glaringly obvious. They have an ID that looks like "xy_1234", this is their first ever sale, they just joined eBay and are selling a hot item (GPU, Router) for less than half the cost of a new item. Is there no policing for valid users? I used to see regular Joe's selling stuff. I assume these are bot managed ( I just saw 8-9 illegitimate ID's selling RTX 5070 Ti GPU's for under $500). Is there something we as a community can do? While I was refunded for my router payment ($500) somebody got something and somebody else ate the cost. This will make eBay more expensive if this continues.
