A number cannot be provided because there isn't one to provide. If you want to talk to someone from eBay on the phone you must request a call back.
Folks responding here don't work for eBay; this is a public user forum.

Most questions/issues can be correctly addressed here by the experienced and knowledgeable Ebay Mentors.
Ebay Customer Service does not have a direct phone line because the agents are each working in different locations.

Whatever phone numbers you find on the web for eBay are fake numbers.
eBay reps are working from home, so u cannot have their phone number.
We may be able to help you here in the community if you post your situation, otherwise

if you choose chat and don’t want a bot, select or type in ‘agent’
If you decide to receive a call back, make sure your phone will not block the call back
