A DAY LATE & A DOLLAR SHORT Payment on HOLD
I was a day late and a dollar short for my on my car insurance and a dollar short. Thanks eBay. I needed to get my car insurance payment in by 12:01 or I was being canceled and fined $500 so I did everything in my power to beg borrow and sell whatever I could to pay my premium this quarter. And a friend told me about eBay and well here I am. And I thought I was gonna make th dead line. And I would have made it had the rules not changed on me. Had I known what I know now I would t even bothered I’m in worse shape now then I was
I thought there had to be a way to to get payment released ?? Or least get eBay to abide by there word. Their original word
I’m a little disappointed because it originally stated on hold until delivered. Understood. But deliver Sunday. It’s Tuesday’. Supposed to be released at midnight on 24th then the dsid the 25. Now it’s the 26 th so disgusted. It’s unreal at this point they can shove the money I don’t need it now I need it yesterday that why i practically GAVE A $400 item away paid for two shipping labels and psid to promote the dag on thing. Only making )52 bucks outta )88 ibaccidently paid for shipping when buyer was supposed to anyway can they just donate the funds I’m done I don’t want the money now I don’t need it I need it yesterday.

First I want to mention that you had FREE SHIPPING on the listing. That is why the buyer did not pay you any $ to purchase the shipping label.
There is no need to promote listings for items that are popular, it just gives eBay more of your $.
As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers can experience holds for up to 31 days. It usually 3 days after tracking shows delivery.

Mentor5 months ago@christinapcleaning47 I understand, that can happen sometimes especially when you are a new seller. Sunday is not recognized as a shipping day. So the earliest you should expect your payout is a 3rd business day after tracking that is on the sold item shows delivery.

OP5 months agoThat’s what has me upset I totally understand needed be held til delivered i rushed delivery and paid extra ok then said two days after delivery ok. Now three days now even longer I don’t get it it’s brand new item. The buyer confirmed deliver bc it new I doubt be issue and bc he confirmed it obvious he isn’t saying there’s an issues the first label dint scan had but second yes I voided but won’t get refund for month it’s just frustrating I need $$60 inwas $60!short I mad at self for selling $400 item for $88 cleared $55!all said n done two rushnshippingblabelblater promo ext now doesn’t matter I didn’t make dead line still got the mva insurance fine

OP5 months agoDoes anyone know why the date would change three times tho? And what reason would they hold expect to gain interest in their account in mean they are a multi billion dollar company i figure I’m just a small peice of what their holding in their escrow account for 5 days pay pal would release fund as soon as deliveries confirmed and eBay stated they would do the exact same in the beginning then it changed three times this is the frustrating to me is it changed without rational for no good reason it’s delivered seller confirmed he emailed them so I would get paid asap
