eBay does not just issue refunds to Buyers just because they are not happy with an item. I think there may be some details missing on this transaction.
One scenario: The Buyer would have had to file a return request and you would have to have declined or accepted it. If you decline it the Buyer can ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
