a couple more questions on buyer cancel order
I posted yesterday about a buyer wanting me to cancel the order
after I had gotten the messages that it was paid for and I should ship it
I did get helpful replies that it was up to me to cancel and not the buyer like I had thought
anyways since I was paid and needed to ship I got everything ready for a pick up since we were going to be leaving for a few days
so what happens since it will be picked up for shipping
I always thought that once you were paid and ready to ship it was a done deal
regardless of what I do accept or deline the cancel will ebay just pull it from my account
if the package was already picked up and on its way do I get it back if the buyer got the refund by ebay and not me oking it

Mentor2 years agoeBay will not refund the buyer based on the cancellation request, if you decline the request.
Since you are shipping, if not received by the estimated delivery date, the buyer can open a not received claim, and then you will have to refund. If it arrives after the estimated delivery date, and the buyer has not been refunded, they can close that claim and open a not as described return, so you will pay the return shipping. I think you can expect on getting the item back one way or another.
If already picked up, the only way to get the package back is to spend $15 on a package intercept at usps.com.
It is always best to accommodate a buyer’s cancellation request if at all possible. No good ever comes from forcing a buyer to complete a transaction.
