A buyer, who never returned the damage item that was refunded

Hello, Iâ€™m trying to recoup my money from a sale that I made it to a buyer on eBay who said that his item arrived damage back in November 2022 I had Ebay to refund his money from Me immediately. The buyer never returned my item. When I finally reached him He said he was out of town he said he would be back in March 2023 I contacted him in August 7, 2023. He contacted me later And told me he could not find the item and he would pay me the purchase price of the item . I tried to give him my info...

Never refund before you get the item back. Ebay can not help you and buyer is not obligated to return the item, if you voluntarily refunded them before he returned the item.
