A buyer paid for a comic and wants it held.
A buyer bought a comic book and paid for it so I got a label. No problem. Then he messaged me with a new address to ship it to. So I had to cancel the first label. Now he wants me to hold on to the item because he wants to win other items I'm selling. I don't see that he has bid on anything else and he hasn't won anything in 2 days. What should I do.

Mentor6 months ago@eggchef Advise the buyer that per eBay policy you must ship within your stated handling time to the address provided at checkout.
If you agree to hold the package you will have a late shipment defect. One won't hurt your account too much as long as you normally ship on time.
It looks like you have some decent comics to sell. You may want to consider requiring buyers to provide a payment method before placing a bid or offer. AND allow invoices. Then buyers can keep bidding for up to 7 days on other items.
Allow invoices is on this page> https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf Then the payment method that was provided will be charged 7 days after the sale unless the buyer checks out earlier.
The Auto Pay setting is in buyer requirements in account settings> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements Check the box at the bottom of the screen to require a payment before making a bid.

-First, if a Buyer asks for an item to be held before shipping outside your Handling time or messages you to ship to a different address you need to message them back and ask them to message you to cancel. Let them know eBay expects Sellers to ship to the address on file at the time of the order and within their stated handling time to avoid losing Seller protection or receive a late shipping defect ... eBay's rules not yours.
If they ask you to cancel you can do that without a strike on your account when you use the reason "Buyer requested ...".
You can Relsit the item for them to purchase at a later date.
