A buyer is misreprenting the item that I sold
I have a buyer saying that a tablet I sold him has scratched and dings/dents and provided pictures showing scratches and dents and dings. He bought the tablet on March 8, received it on March 14 and is just now sending me images (April 6th) showing some damage. The images I took just prior to shipping show none of the scratches, dents and dings he is claiming. If he posts negative feedback, can I have that removed if I have the proof via images that the tablet was accurately listed and he is trying to scam me into giving him a partial refund?

Mentor1 year agoIf buyer hasn't opened a Return Request try this, tell buyer:
Your item went out in the condition shown in the listing photos, if it received any damage during transit I will fie a claim with USPS. Please cooperate with the Postal Inspectors to resolve this matter.
The above often makes the problem go away, if not and buyer files for a return, best to accept rather than risk losing you item and money and come back here as to what to do next. Do not refund until the item is returned. However, you may want to just counter on the partial refund amount, at least up to the return postage cost to make this go away.
