Buyer contacted after receiving shipment ,making claims that there is some things wrong with item, these issues would of been something that happened during shipment,I ask for pictures of box and item to be sent on here to me and the person claims they sent them to my email,my quick glance earlier didn't show anything ,but regardless why is this person emailing me? Is this even okay?Any ideas how they got my email?

Mentor4 months agoI understand what you are saying, but if the buyer says the item isn't as described and opens a case, the seller must honor that. It is the eBay 30 day money back guarantee and all sellers must abide by this. You would accept the return and pay for shipping to get your item back, or you would refund outright. Has the buyer opened a case of item not as described?

OP4 months agoYes, but I am the one saying possibly shipping issues, the way she is saying things is not like its a shipping issue but like I am in the wrong with the description ,or something, its me saying that its anything other then me and is what the listing and pictures show, there was not anything wrong with the doll,I accurately described it, I stated the dolls knees/legs didn't bend /work and I didn't know how to get her to walk, she says the leg came off and is glued or something,I wouldn't know about that as the doll didn't have anything going on with it as pictured, and she states the eyes are not functioning like they were functioning in pictures, she states their staying fixed and not opening and closing, like my pictures , in which they are opened and closed are and is all inaccurate in the pictures. Her claims was not shipping, but I think more like I described it wrong. She was aware the legs weren't working,or that I didn't know how to get them to work. The eyes are glass and held on by plaster of paris,I had a antique doll sitting on a chair in my living room one day and looked at it ,and noted its eyes had completely dropped in its head with out anything at all going on except it sitting there, these are normal antique doll issues. I am the one saying shipping may have caused it.

Mentor4 months agoSellers are responsible for getting the item to the customer with no damage. It is up to the seller to package properly. You do need to accept the return and either pay for return shipping or just refund outright.
As for the personal information, it is only seen by buyers in transactions with you , just as you have their personal information. This is required and cannot be changed.

OP4 months agoThe item was sent exactly as described and as pictured so its not a 'as described issue", whatever happened to the 80 + year old item happened during shipment, is there any way to hide our personal information , why would that be accessible when we have this platform to contact through, that personal information should be for eBay to contact us through ,not every Tom, John and Harry.

Mentor4 months agoI believe the buyer found your email address when he went to his Purchase history, located the transaction, and clicked on View Order Details.
You should advise the buyer to file a returns request for Item Not as Described. You will accept the return and provide a return shipping label. If you do not wish to pay for return shipping, you can make a full refund, and not require that the item be returned.
