A blocked listing
eBay has blocked a listing of mine. They said I offered to sell the item outside of eBay. My listing says no such thing but something is triggering their AI. How can I get them to show me exactly what is wrong in my listing. How can I fix it if I don't even know what is wrong. This is the second time AI has done this to me and I'm not guilty.

OP6 months agoYes, and do you know what the link was for? It was for the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa OK so that people could see that the item I advertised was legitimate and of the age I described. I also referenced a written article about how water drums have very specific binding - it was informational. There is no way the museum item was for sale and I certainly didn't have the power to offer it for sale anyway. And since when do we censor informational material? eBay said my listing offered something outside of eBay for sale and that was the reason the ad was blocked. This has only happened since eBay began using AI. When I pressed the issue with eBay and demanded a human review, they released the ad quickly exactly like I'd written - their AI was wrong because it can't process information like a human. But a lot of people wouldn't go to the trouble. Mistakes like this don't bode well for eBay, but also don't bode well for society at large. AI can find you guilty of any old thing just because it works at an understanding level of a 5 year old. Apply this to all of daily life and you have a problem.
