Hello everyone, I need help, I’ve order a package and accidentally put the wrong city. It has then been delivered and I’ve been telling the seller since it was at the wrong city and he shows not a care and dose not do anything only stating the same or similar automated messages every time, I’ve contacted usps and eBay but no one is helping me bet my 63 dollars back or at least get in contact with who they delivered it to, I’ve lost my money and my product along with all trust for eBay knowing they don’t got my back. All because I accidentally press a refund thing then cancel it they refuse to me assistance so now I’m stuck with no product or enough money to get a new one.

Mentor6 months agoBuyers are responsible for keeping their SHIP TO address up to date. You mistyped the city, and that is where the package was delivered. If undeliverable, it should have been returned back to the seller. What information does the tracking show? If it shows Delivered, then the label had a valid address in the city you specified. ebay cannot help you since the package was Delivered to the address you specified. Have you tried writing to the residents at that address to see if they will ship the package to you if you send them a prepaid label?

Mentor6 months agoYour problem is that eBay requires the seller to ship to the address you listed on payment for the item. They are not allowed to change the address or they lose seller protection. So since you placed the wrong city on the mailing address they are not at fault and neither is eBay. Unfortunately it would appear that in the city you entered there is a street that matches yours. So the item was delivered and not sent back to the seller.
You could try asking your payment source for a charge back but they may deny it because you made the mistake and not the seller.
