99¢ and 1¢ eBay scams why don't eBay do anything about them
Summary: tommy4972 expresses concerns about 99¢ and 1¢ scams on eBay, questioning why the platform doesn't take action against them. There appears to be no additional discussion or response to this issue in the thread.
I've realized that if you've been on 10 items or more from one seller that started 99 cents or one cent even that all of the 10 items will be relisted after you supposedly get out bid on them and this continues repeatedly and cause the items actually get sold for a price the seller wants even bringing this to me based attention they haven't done nothing about it and allowing this to continue on it hundreds of sellers pages especially ones that have high volume sales and when you complain to eBay about it they say they'll take care of it but they never do they allow the seller to continue to relist the items that you get out bid on over and over again until they get the highest price for it that they're asking or wanting try this yourself find something that's a 99 cent bid start bit on 10 of the seller's items after you've been out bed go back and check the item that was sold to somebody else that outbid you then check the seller's page tell me if you see the same item listed repeatedly that you bid on that you get out but on on the seller site I've tried this hundreds of times in the same results the item gets relisted reposted and eBay does nothing to stop it making eBay a fraudulent site and most sellers that start at 99 cents Fred's lunch sellers but it's allowed on eBay

OP4 months agoBy the way I didn't experiment for 6 months on the One account doing this to see how many fraudulent sellers there are starting visit 99 cents and after I complain to eBay a few times they block me out of my account took away the proof I had not allowing me to have access to my account just because I complained and proved to them that it was a scam going on that they weren't doing anything about so try yourself have fun
