"925 Sterling Silver PLATED" jewelry
I buy many items for a small jewelry shop I have and it seems I KEEP running into sellers from India marking their items as "925 Sterling Silver" in the listing title, but as I have been fooled before by this when I look at the FULL description it lists a base metal of copper or it says "plated"! But it does NOT say that in the listing title and there is NO such thing as "925 Sterling Silver PLATED" jewelry! It's either .925 parts PURE SILVER for the ENTIRE setting or it's PLATED with silver! Even a "925 Sterling Silver Plated" jewelry listing title is deceptive! What can be done about this? Does anyone know?
