It sounds like the listing was a multi quantity listing where the buyer chooses the number of items that they want to purchase. So in this case the seller had five available and you could choose to purchase from one to five of the same item. The seller should only have had a photo of one item and not all five since this is confusing to the buyer. If this is the case then you purchased one item and received one item.
If you provide the item number we can look at the listing to see what was actually shown.
The listing showed 5 the description at the bottom said 5. The middle of the listing had a drop down in smaller font that defaulted to one. Very deceptive. Seller is using trickery to boost their profit. They offered to refund $2. I returned it.
If you bought something that doesn't match the description, you should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item", "Missing Parts & Pieces" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
You can open your return request here. Just click the photo and follow the instructions.
Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.

Is it one flashlight that is 5x the power?
If you could update this post with a link to the listing, we can take a look.
