Question

I got a letter from eBay (or former employee benefits) saying I have over $11,000.00 in my account. How can I get in touch with the department that can help me get the money sent to me? (minus obligatory taxes)

There is money in a 401(k) account that is yours because you were employed by eBay?

Did you keep that letter?

I wonder if it was from a company that administers 401(k) plans for employees of eBay, Inc.

That letter should include a telephone number for you to call.

Or a website that you can visit.
Or a return mailing address.

Did you actually work for eBay in the past? 401(k)'s are not usually administered by the company but by a financial institution. If this is real you should have received a notice from the financial institution and not eBay itself.

A 401K is a retirement plan for employees. You will need to contact Ebay. The contact information should have been on the letter they sent to you.

I need my 401 (k) sent to me. Can you have someone take care of this so I can get the 401 (k) money sent to my house. The letter I got from you says I have an amount of about $11,750.00. This is the money I want sent to me.
