30 day wait on payout??
so after i just sold an antique clock which had been in my family for many years, the buyer received the clock, no problems, im checking to see why i dont have funds available to transfer into my bank, when i call and ask for help, im told my payout would be on hold for 30 days. **bleep**... seriously?? ebay charging me how much to sell this clock, then holding my funds for 30 days? really?? what a horrible company!!! i was never told about this pollicy, what a horrible neighbor, it **bleep** me off to know your headquarters is right down the street, and that youre holding my money, and there seems to be nothing i can do about it. rat bastages.
IF anyone contemplating selling a family heirloom on here, BEWARE!!!! you may just get scammed like i did!! horrible company, horrible neighbor!!

As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers. Even long time sellers can experience holds on high priced sales.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
You can see the fund holds policy on this page> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=

OP2 years agothere is no reason for a 30 day hold . I was forthright in the description of the clock i sold, including pictures. i had several conversations with the buyer before he purchased it, and he knew exactly what he purchased. it was delivered, several days ago, and the buyer has not expressed ANY disatisfaction with his purchase. So, why the hold for 30 days? what does this accomplish, other than padding ebays books, and most probably inflating its company value. I feel completely taken advantage of, and can see no benefit of some sort of 30 day guarantee or so called hold on paying me.
