30 Day Payment Hold?
What's going on with the hold payment? I've sold on ebay before with local and was paid within a few days. Recently, sold an item for pick up and I have a 30 day hold. Scanned the buyers bar code and positive feedback was left Item shows picked up and paid. Please explain why? I"m rated an above standard seller though not a very active seller.
Thanks,
Charles

As an occasional seller, you are subject to payment holds which are typically 30 days (as you have discovered).

OP8 months agoThanks for your response, and the policy link. The policy is the policy, but it' s very discouraging as the seller. Why sell on eBay if they are going to hold my funds for 30 days AND charge me the sales fees? I have to wait for a low dollar transaction to be paid even though and buyer confirmed the pick up...?
I'm a very active buyer as well as a seller with good feedback for both. I could see the hold if I had negative feedback as a buyer or seller, or even if the sale amount was "high dollar" maybe. But none of these scenarios apply.
Thanks,
Charles
