3 DAY SUSPENSION HAS BEEN COMPLETED, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Summary: ronsgrantiques recently returned to selling on eBay and faced violations on half of their 170 listed items. They believe the issues stemmed from labeling items as 'vintage' and packaging them in decorative bags. Despite modifying descriptions, they are confused about their suspension status. comics-scifi-collectibles advised ensuring that perfume items are marked as new due to USPS hazardous material regulations, emphasizing the importance of proper shipping methods and fees for items containing alcohol.
I JUST RETURNED TO SELLING ON EBAY AFTER 4 YEARS. I RECENTLY LISTED 170 ITEMS. HALF OF THE LISTINGS RESULED IN VIOLATIONS. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY, BUT I GUESS THE REASON WAS BECAUSE I INDICATED THE ITEM WAS VINTAGE AND IT WAS SHIPPED IN A DECORATIVE PULL STRING BAG. I GUESS INDICATING THE ITEM WOULD MAILED IN A PULL STRING BAG VIOLATES THE AUTHENTISITY OF THE ITEM. THE ITEM WAS NEVER ALTERED. IT WAS JUST ADDING CLASS TO THE SALE AND THE MAILING I NOW HAVE ADDED THE WORD "UNUSED" AND LIMITED THE WORD "VINTAGE" TO THE DISCRIPTIONS. I AM CONFUSSED ABOUT THE EXPIRATION OF MY 3 DAY SUSPENSION. THE THREE DAYS HAVE PASSED. I HAVE YET TO BE NOTIFIED. WHEN ARE WE BACK TO BUSINESS AS USUAL? IS THE MATTER RESOLVED? YOUR ADVICE IS WELCOMED.

Mentor1 week ago · Edited@ronsgrantiques Next... do NOT relist the items that were removed or you can be suspended for longer.
I am not sure why the listings were removed unless you did not state that the perfume is NEW.
You can't sell partial bottles of perfume, even if it's due to evaporation.
Looking at your listings you do have an invalid shipping method. First Class shipping is only for flats and you use postage stamps or buy the shipping at the post office.
Perfume that contains alcohol, which most do, is consider a hazardous item by USPS.
It MUST ship using GROUND shipping.
This means that you have to include $7.50 handling fee in your shipping estimate or the item price. If you don't and are caught USPS WILL charge you a $50 fine.
Hazmat Shipping Updates
Handling Fee: A $7.50 fee per package will be charged for packages containing hazardous material for Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express shipments.
Noncompliance Fee: A $50.00 fee per package will be charged for every package that does not meet USPS Hazmat requirements for Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express and Ground Advantage shipments.
Reminder: When reusing packaging, ensure that any old markings, labels, barcodes, or shipping information that do not apply to the current shipment are completely removed or covered. To learn more, visit USPSDelivers.com
