3 day reduction tool?
Summary: akinsattic expresses concerns about a new price reduction tool that lowers prices every three days, arguing that it is too aggressive and negatively impacts profit margins. They suggest that this encourages buyers to wait for price drops rather than purchasing immediately. akinsattic recommends a 30-day reduction option, which they believe would be more practical and beneficial for sellers.
What is up with this new three-day reduction thing and it would be more used if it was a one month. Dropping the price every 3 days is way too aggressive and kills a seller's profit margins, so most of us just turn it off completely. It also trains buyers to just watch the item and wait for the price to fall instead of buying it. I manually reduce my items after a month anyway, and I would actually use an automated feature if it had a 30-day option instead of a 3-day option. Please fix this and give sellers more realistic timing choices.
