25+ year member screwed again by lying fraud eBay - fake outsourced customer support liars
eBay expunges valid, non-policying infringing feedback, resulting in the deception and aiding, abetting and harboring US criminal legal fraud. They hire outsourced foreign support, who are 100% ignorant or not concerned of US legal code and laws, criminal accessories who could care less about US law or customers getting defrauded and swindled - from false listings, blatant fraud - anyone criminal seller can simply call eBay fake 'customer service' and get any negative feedback removed. All liars, and I have 7-8 years hard proof of it from screencaps, recorded lies.
Further, no response from promised callback, addressing issues etc. DEN OF THIEVES (and watch the troll criminal sellers on "ebay fake community" try their damage control to save face so they can further commit their criminal acts). What a joke platform. And here I quit for good - since the year eBay started with a 100% perfect record, never a failure to adequately fulfill all transactions and substantiate all claims (including which I have evidence here, provided to useless fraud eBay support).
eBay corporate are criminals - no integrity, conscience - all elements from site design, lies, infringement of their own stated policies, forced payment options, collection of tax on grant total, illegally for USPS taxpayer funded carrier. I could go on and on and on... Everything and anything designed to evade responsibility, comply by actual US online marketplace sales law (a monopoly with full immunity). I could point out a ton of ton of factors including their privileged, questionable relationship with Paypal, which, if people forgot eBay/Paypal was "supposed" to legally split circa 2015-6, which they did in name ONLY yet in fact have integration, previously shared same support teams: if seriously challenged in a US court of law who likely be deemed to be unlawful - from hiding contact information and complaint processing (as compared to every other single marketplace on the internet) to pure evasion and proven deception, lies towards actually upholding their own advertising/seller feedback policies to to entrap buyers and aiding, abetting, harboring fraud..
Demonstrated willful intent: from false advertising (expungement of valid feedback on grossly fraudulent selling transactions/false view; entrapment, illegal tactics to retain commission by the millions on a daily level, especially cumulatively for small sum items that might be not include adequate packaging for return or cost of time and money that exceed and result in loss or acceptance of blatant fraud.
Not once has eBay actually penalized sellers for grossly misrepresenting item or sheer negligence and blatant fraud. From site design burying returns (on secondary pages, to far down in queue) to short handling windows, delay all designed to STEAL and cost massive loss to buyer. CRIMINALS = eBay criminal #1.
Second time I now quit after being robbed, lied to and having hard proof, a long list now of eBay as a willful and demonstrated participate (on every level, from design to fake evasive customer non-service).
Go ahead trolls (aka the seller thieves) defend your criminal platform. I sincerely hope some smart legal team wises up and 'tests the eBay' thoroughly, audit its processes and design and bogus customer service responses - pretty easy to collect hard evidence on eBay literal crimes. A class action law suit with records of complaints culled from eBay itself would be great...

OP2 years agoand for final quick record here, I called ebay per usual (being forced to choose irrelevant options of course, only via chatbot) to finally get a customer agent, only to be promised a addressing on a simple issue - zero response per usual, pure evasion. Then just spent another 3 hours this morning to get an agent, get hassled, request a supervisor only to have a supervisor defer call to "offline" team (aka refusal to take a call during off-time within first hour of opening of customer service. Btw, chatbot says call any time, yet of hours are closed and you cannot in fact call anytime. So I spent 3 hours to ultimately be turned away, dismissed to another EVASION "offline" - Zero goodwill or intent to date. I guess indeed this is why eBay hired foreign support to handle Americans financial transaction and who have zero knowledge or care or US Federal law pertaining to online marketplace and who feel perfectly fine lying and avading responses - at the ultimate cost of several hours of loss of time (far outcosting an typical small item); you can't even go to Paypal, can you - forced circle to non-existent fake eBay support. Total criminal.
@eBay "offline" support ("we will get back to you in 72 hours [we're too business drinking coffee, playing video games and laughing at the dumb Americans while we take your jobs and get paid")]. A trick of fraud companies like eBay hire out, evade responsibility among other 'design' issues. No response, canned robots, pure deception.
In case you read this like I told agent #4453 [insert fake English name] to tell your 72-hour "offline" team that will likely never respond, you welcome to show a sign of simple, benign acknowledge and goodwill and maybe compensate me my $30 for your [repeated] offense that cost me countless hours of time and money. And maybe I won't finally drop eBay and you well to "expunge" my comment (but I suspect a fake "community" moderator sitting in eBay corporate getting 200k/year will just 'strike' me and do that anyway...

·2 years agoFinished with your little rant? Blow off enough steam?
Ive been selling on ebay since 1999. I joined the old ebay "Answer Center" later, and have been an ebay mentor since 2008. I do not work for ebay, and have no particular reason to defend them, other than the fact that i know ebay policy.
Obviously there's a lot of information about ebay that you choose to ignore and then blame someone else. For instance, you might want to go back and read the ebay user agreement, especially the part about agreeing any disputed will be settled by arbitration and you cant file any type of lawsuit against them. Then go and read policies about feedback, and you'll realize that in certain circumstances ebay does remove feedback. Particularly if it 1) violated policy in any way, or 2) in cases where there was an issue with the transaction and the seller handled the issue properly.
you're welcome.
