20V Porter Cable battery failure first use.
Purchased 2 - 20V batteries April 22, 2025. Arrived by FedEx April 26, 2025. Instructions state to charge before use. Both items charged well with no issues. Positive feedback was left for the seller. I Installed both batteries in a 6-1/2 " Porter Cable saw and it ran on both batteries. The batteries were place back into the box and store on an indoor shelf. August 24, 2025, I needed to make a few small cuts with the saw. The battery ran the saw for 6 inches and stopped. I figured it had discharged. When placed into a charger, the green charge light came on. Shortly after the red light came on with a rapid flash. This indicates a "cell" failure. I place the "other" battery into the charger, and it indicates it is charging normally. I purchased the 2 from the seller as it shows a 10 year limited warranty and to contact them at their email address if problems arise. They claim to have a "Hasslefree Friendly Customer Service". There is no email address listed so I messaged them to inform them if the issue. The seller has not responded to any of the 4 messages. I have no way to contact this "Hasslefree Friendly Customer Service". This is unacceptable for the battery to fail on first use when I have had it less that 4 months. I need help to get the information or the seller to replace the battery. Since this is passed the return time of 60 days, eBay offers no help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mentor11 months agoeBay cannot help since it has been more than 30 days since delivery which is the limit of the eBay Money Back Guaranty. You can try to contact your payment source and see about a charge back but there are time limits for this also.
