2 factor verification
I want to disable 2 factor verification temp while verizon is having issues. I cannot received texts or calls. While in my account, the system wants to send me a text with the 6 digit code to verify me, with verizon down, that cannot happen, nor can i received phone calls

The following are directions for a desktop browser. If you're using the mobile app, like on a smart phone, then maybe they're close enough for you to figure it out.
Click https://accounts.ebay.com/acctsec/security-center
or if that won't work, the path is Account > Sign-in and security
The second one down is 2 step verification, click Edit.
I've never used 2 step verification, so mine has a button that says Set Up. Since you are using it, yours will say something else, but the switch to turn it off should be in the same place.

OP1 year agoExactly, however one step was missed, since 2 factor was turned on, the system wants to sent me a text to verify it's me before i can turn off 2 factor.. since Verizon is down, no texts are coming through
