I purchased a 1PZ BG2-A02 thru ebay and i need some specification info for my TRX300 coil, ohm readings for primart & secondary coils. On my new coil i am within Honda specs on secondary but there is no resistence, ie 0 ohms, continuity. The manual states, .1-.2 ohms.
What do i do with this order that also included a cdi box?
I am unable to figure out how to send the seller a message & it has been installed.

Are you using an ohmmeter that has selectable scales, and, if so, are you making sure your meter is set on the right scale?
If it's set for too high an expected reading, it won't have the resolution for tiny resistances. For example, if your meter is set on the 100 ohm scale, then 0.2 ohm would round to zero on a digital meter, or wouldn't move the pointer at all on an analog meter.
I went and got my Simpson 260 to check for exact settings. It can be selected to a 1 Ω, 100 Ω, or 10,000 Ω scale.
