1972-78 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 RetroRadio M1 AM/FM AUX Stereo
I purchased this item April 14th, 2025, and paid $256.19 and I am trying to install it into my Toyota truck I am restoring. In the past I have done several of these units into other vehicles my own and other relatives/friends I put them in. A bench test is usually a good thing to do before installing these units. I am having a major short that is occurring in this particular unit, and it won't power up. It keeps making my 12-volt power supply to shut-off which is a fail-safe unit I have and keeps from messing up any electronic devices that are 12v supplied. I have requested from the seller help in regard to this unit and they said I have to contact their technical dept in which I have by email, and I described the issue I am having. I keep being told by email that someone will be in contact with me but still I have heard nothing. There is a 1-year warranty on this unit per the seller's ad. How do I get this enforced by eBay since the seller is not actually offering any kind of replacement or refunds. Here is the order #26-12937-23792, and here is the item #275238889243. I am now going to have to see into finding another unit because this is holding up part of the restoration of my little truck. I am not sure if anyone can help me out but with the 1-year warranty deal I would figure I can get it replaced or refunded. I don't think contacting the seller no more will help the situation. I would appreciate any help with this if someone can.

Ebay cannot enforce sellers' so-called "warranties". Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee.
Sellers cannot offer warranties for their items unless they are an authorized seller for the company that manufactures the item.
