Mentor1 year agoeBay did not send you anything. The seller sent you the item. When you receive a non working item you have 30 days from receipt to open a case for an "Item not as described". The seller must either accept the return or send you a full refund without a return. If the seller wants the item back they must send you a prepaid shipping label and once they get the item back they must fully refund you. There is no need to contact eBay at all unless the seller does not follow through.
So find the item on your purchase history and click on the Problem with this item option on the menu. Then choose "Item not as described".
