    The US government put a hold on this ridiculous legislation, but ebay insists on my giving out my personal information. Why haven't you updated this yet?

    Hi @mattdyal 

     

    eBay has no clue if a Seller will meet the minimum 1099K threshold or not this year or next year or any years after that.  But regardless, they need the SSN in case a Seller does.

     

    Many Sellers seem to be irritated with not knowing what the threshold will be lowered to or when it will happen when they should only be concerned with reporting their sales via the Schedule C and take advantage of deductions ... this makes a potential 1099K perfunctory ... reporting sales is a Seller's responsibility, regardless of what amount that means ...
