1099 tax form
I received a 1099 tax form indicating that I’ve Sold $2500. Most of my pricey items were returned as they were not authentic and money was refunded to customer so now I’ve really only have $300. In sales. How do I get eBay to issue a corrected 1099 form. Thanks. Dianne S

Mentor5 months agoThey will not correct the 1099. The IRS requires the 1099 to show the total amount what was collected by the payment source (eBay in this case) without regard to any refunds. You will adjust the amount when filling out your tax form by showing the amount of money returned as a refund on Schedule C.
