1099-k
I'm confused as to which number will be used to decide if I get a 1099-K. Is it once the Gross Sales (including taxes) gets over $600, or when Gross Payouts (money I actually receive) gets over $600? Or is it some other mysterious number?
(either way it's still a ridiculously low number. A lot of good it did to contact my Senator and Congressman)

Mentor3 years agoThe 1099 is based on the total gross payments processed, which does not include ebay collected sales tax.
Regardless, whether you get a 1099 or not, you are responsible to report all income, whether you owe any tax or not.
