1099-K

Question

hello,

ebay sent me a 1099-K for the transactions in 2025. The gross amount was 2.8K with only 23 transactions. I thought the threshold is 5K and 200+ transactions. Any input would be appreciated.

I have looked everywhere for a contact email for ebay and not able to find anything on their website. Anyone who has this please share.

Key 1099-K Thresholds by State (General Guidelines) Federal Threshold (IRS): >$20,000 and >200 transactions. $600 Threshold: District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, North Carolina, Vermont, Virginia. $1,000 Threshold: New Jersey. $1,200 Threshold: Missouri. I believe you are located in Maryland.
