Does anyone know if the $20,000 threshold for ebay to send a 1099-k is going to apply for items sold in 2024?

The 2024 threshold is expected to be $600, but for the past several years, this has changed so I wouldn't count on anything until late in the year.
However, the 1099-K threshold has nothing to do with your obligation to declare your eBay sales on your tax return. You are required to do that whether you receive a 1099-K or not. This has always been the case.

·2 years agoThere is talk that the threshold for 2024 will be $5,000 but as mentioned who knows.
The IRS seems to be having a hard time with all this.
