1099-k
So if you’re a person who sells 1 item. Why does eBay automatically send you a 1099-k form for said one item that doesn’t even reach the 20k for an individual? I am not a business once so ever. Why would they label me as one and send me the 1099k form? Also why is customer service for eBay non existent, there is no actual way to talk to a real person

eBay must follow state laws, too. A number of states have threshold well below the federal - some have a threshold of $600.
