10 days NO sales what going on???
All of a sudden NO sales in about 10 days, why and what is going on? Did I do something wrong and now my items aren't being shown to buyers? I almost always add eBay promotion to my items. I either keep the % that they suggest and or raise the percentage rate! I am relatively new to online reselling but haven't gone this long without sale! I have over 250 items online thus far. Listing almost everyday but it's not doing anything for my sales!

The ones that can afford it are saving up for Spring break and Summer vacation.
It getting warmer and people are getting out more, spending less time online.
Some are just buying items they need and forgetting their wants.

OP3 years agoInflation I get.
I watch a handful of YouTubers and they are all doing well for the most part. I know I cannot compare myself to them and their success do to them being very established and I'm relatively new! I didn't know if I had done something wrong? If this drop to $0 sales is commen during certain times of the year or if it's all because of the Inflation!

·3 years agoYou can't really go much by the YouTubers, they probably make more from YouTube then they do selling.
I thinks it's a little of both, inflation and time of year.
I've been here since 2011 and the first few months of the year have always been slow, but it depends on what you sell.

OP3 years agoMakes sense! Thankfully I have 25-30 years of collecting and really don't need to source for atleast a year!
Not saying this inflation hasn't hit us hard! It has and our greedy landlords are throwing my family out of the home after almost 14 years of never late rent payments even after the huge rent increase the imposed upon us. Knowing it would leave pocket change to live on! Grrrr
Can't afford to rent anything here on SSDI income. So have to put everything in storage, sell out of it and live in our car for untold amount of time! That's why I'm a little stressed that I haven't sold anything in 10 days...
Anyway, sorry for the little rant and thank you for taking time out of your day to answer my question!

·3 years agoI understand about the SSDI.
I'm on disability and after paying the regular bills this month, I have a whole $9 left for the month.
With a lot of big companies laying off, I think more people are trying to hang on to as much money as they can, not knowing what the future is going to be like.

OP3 years agoI was supposed to go to the online eBay conference but couldn't make it do major family emergency! Is that maybe a part of sales dropping to $0 sales? So confused, sad now going broke! Please eBay what's going on here?
