1 month, purchase not shipped
This is a first for me. I made a $120 purchase on Jan. 18. One day from it being a month and still it has not been shipped.
I have attempted contact with the seller twice now. Not demanding anything, simply asking for an update.
Seller could be out of town, or dead, I don't know, I have received no reply.
Having been burned in the past, I question the legitimacy of the item purchased, as well as the seller. Not a great feeling.
I still desire that which I purchased, if it takes longer than usual to receive it, that's fine. But, after a month, I don't know what my options are, if I have any, aside from more waiting and trying another contact with the seller.
This seems like an awful long time for an item to ship and I simply could use some thoughts outside my own.
Is it really that I am stuck just waiting, knowing nothing?

Go to your Purchase History immediately … and file an ‘Item not received’ claim.
You have only 30 days past the Estimated Delivery Date to file a claim with eBay.

When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
I know you'd rather have the item, but at this point, take the money. Don't let the seller string you along and/or ignore you until your protection period runs out.
