Hi.
A year ago i bought spark plugs and ignition coils. Order number listed in subject.
After installed, 2 month later 5th cylinder started misfire. Coil was replaced with old one and ok now.
3 month ago 3rd cylinder misfire started. Although, replaced with old one and now ok.
I sent a email/text thru ebay to the seller but no response.
I spent already $200 for replacing this coils.
Is the ebay policy has something to protect a buyers from a this kind of after market parts, i mean bad quality
parts?
Thanks

Mentor1 year agoeBay's protection ended thirty days after you received the parts. A year later, I'm afraid that protection from any source will be slim to none, probably the latter. You called them "after market" parts; is this another way of saying Chinese knock offs? I'll never put stuff like that in my car. It's only OEM for me. It's cheaper in the long run, but that's not the reason, not number one. The number one reason is reliability; I don't want my car to go dead on me unexpectedly, and you know it will always happen when it's most inconvenient, or even dangerous.

If you paid with Paypal, you can file a case with them as they allow returns within 180 days of the transaction. As a last resort, you can file a chargeback with your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.
