I tried reporting it and appeals but ebay instantly denies my request.
- The buyer falsely claimed that the product was not as described.
- The buyer openly refused to return the item.
- The buyer demanded a refund.
- The buyer threatened negative feedback.
Then after I promised a 100% refund if they returned the item, they refused and left negative feedback.

I would review the message with customer service - the feedback should certainly be removed for extortion.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service.

3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)

OP9 months agoThat didn't work. I called and the person who I spoke to read the messages and immediately said yes that is feedback extortion and then put me on hold while consulting a supervisor. 30 minutes later they said I will have to wait and see what the supervisor does and hung up. It did not get removed, atleast not yet- a day later it's still there.

I suppose since the buyer didn’t outright say they would leave negative feedback if no refund is sent, CS is dismissing the threat.
I would try asking via social media, and ask if the buyer isn’t requesting something not in the listing - a refund without having to return the product - with an implied threat of poor feedback.
