“violation†on listing with no issues i can see
i have a pottery pitcher which ebay has pulled from being listed due to a “violation". they don’t tell me what the violation is even though i have pressed the resolve button. i’ve been on ebay for 26 years and this is **bleep**. there is nothing odd about the listing. i disputed it and it’s been unresolved on ebay’s part for over a month now. they have not communicated at all. what now??

What is the policy reason? It would be on the listing and in your messages/emails from eBay
For instance
Animal Policy
Contact Policy
Adult Policy
Firearms Policy
etc.

i have no idea the reason for the violation.
a handmade pottery pitcher can’t possibly violate anything.

Click the listing there will be a statement about the type of violation.
A pitcher can have several violations that I can think of but I am just guessing here.
- Copyright issues if it mimics a brand name
- images on the pitcher
- materials the pitcher is made from- lead, uranium
If you can share an image her or a url to a similar item, I may be able to guess.
If you can't find the reason, only customer service can tell you.
