“Economy Shipping “
When it comes to Sport Cards, any seller will have “economy shipping “ under $20. That is misleading because there is No mentioning of a standard white letter envelope, any card being shipped should be sent in a bubble wrap envelope 6 X 9, eBay should make it a standard on sport card shipping, there will be less of a chance of damage

Mentor2 years ago@toyhuntersimon It is possible to ship sport cards and not have them damaged using eBay's Standard Envelope shipping method, but it takes knowledge on the sellers part. It's a low cost metered mail shipping and has rules about what kind of envelopes a seller can use as ONLY the sorting equipment reads the tracking. They can't use padded envelopes, and it has to stay flexible.
I know a high volume seller says he successfully ships cards in a plain white envelope with 3 sheets of white paper around the cards in a top loader to smooth out the edges and protect them.
Here's a post by a fellow mentor that has great information about how as seller has to ship and how the system works> https://community.ebay.com/t5/Ask-a-Mentor/Standard-envelope-shipping/m-p/34239169#M598479
If the seller shipped using ground advantage it would cost around $4 to $5 just to ship ONE card. That's the next least expensive shipping method that has tracking and insurance.
If your card arrives damaged you can file a refund request within 3 days of delivery.
