⬅ï¸1874âž¡ï¸ Carson City seated liberty silver half dollar
I recently purchased an 1874 Carson City seated liberty half dollar I didn't realize at the time that I was ordering it from China I just seen that it was a really really good price and I was wondering if anybody else has ordered from these cheaper seated liberty half dollar posts and I was curious to see if they are authentic US currency silver 50 Cent seeded Liberty? Any info would be greatly appreciated because I bought it and I already sold it and now one of the people I sold one of them to is saying that it looks off now I don't know if they are wrong or if I got ripped off by buying fake coins

You were dubious about its authenticity and sold it anyway, and now it's coming back to bite you in the a**
I can tell you whether or not it's authentic without even seeing it. If it's coming from China, it's a fake forgery. You'll need to refund your buyer. If it's still within the 30 day guarantee, you can open a Not As Described claim against the China seller where you got it from.

Any coin that is selling for less the price of silver is fake.
That really good price is a fake.

Mentor1 year agoAs long as counterfeits exist and there are folks trying to sell them, buyers will still have to be on the lookout for them, and avoid deals that are obviously too-good-to-be-true, whether they are being sold by accounts registered overseas or by domestic sellers wittingly or unwittingly buying counterfeits from overseas to sell here.
Buyers that doubt their ability to distinguish a genuine article from a counterfeit one should only consider purchasing from trustworthy sellers that have an established reputation for delivering exactly what was described, and should avoid deals that are too-good-to-be-true, or deals that are offered by inexperienced sellers that might disappear soon after the transaction is made.
