Help With Vintage Jewelry Pricing Advice Please
I am selling a huge collection of vintage and MCM jewelry that I am selling for a friend. I've been able to match many pieces to others that are being sold online. But I'm struggling with certain pieces. This is a brooch that is not marked. Can anyone give me a suggestion for price or help me to know if the stones are acrylic or glass? I know they aren't genuine gemstones (sadly : )) Any input would be greatly appreciated!

·3 years agoIt's absolutely impossible to discern glass from acrylic in a photo. The best way to tell is to gently tap a stone against your teeth. Glass will have a sharp sort of tinging tap, acrylic more of a clunk. The piece isn't incredibly old, likely 1960s. Large cabachon stones like that really weren't that popular in the 50s.
