Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver 925 Black Onyx Bracelet Carved Aztec Panel. They are all marked sterling silver, 925, but are not! These bracelets from Taxco and Mexico are not real silver. They have sold so many of them ripping people off. I have been a jeweler for over 40 years and have not seen a real sterling silver one ever. I just want people to know. There are so many for sale!!!

hello... hopefully this is the proper board... i just received a mixed bag, mostly coins, some jewelry, and this pin looks like it might not be typical costume jewelry... it's about 27mm and 4.5 grams, and looks like it might be silver plated... it's not heavy enough to be solid silver... i haven't had any luck deciphering the markings on the back (the hallmark looks like a fish and says SITTER or SISTER or something like that - the mark looks double struck - and i can't make out the patent date at all) and figured i should let the experts take a look... BTW, any coin questions, please feel free to post in the Coins & Paper Money category under the Coins & Paper Money board... yep, same name... we LOVE to figure stuff out..!!

How Would You Feel Comfortable Listing This Necklace?
This came out of a yard sale. It's 18 inches long. The balls have a distinctive cross hatch, diamond pattern. The only necklaces I can find on line with this exact pattern are all Trifari. But this one has no hang tag or hallmark. The construction is original, but no hallmark. Would you feel comfortable listing it as Trifari?

Carnelian Charm Bracelet
I am looking to see if anyone can give me any information on this charm bracelet. I have only learned it is carnelian intaglio. I am also having trouble deciphering the marking on the clasp.
